WELCOME PARENTS

As a band director, I have had many parents express their wish to help their children with band homework in the way they do for other classes like English or Math.  This site is designed to help you do just that.

This web site uses an innovative approach to instruction with over 125 short video tutorials. With tons of great pictures and written instruction in an easily accessible format this site is the ultimate tool for the parent.

The entire web site is designed in simple tutorial format: You simply click on an instrument to left and then you will just need to click 'Next' on the bottom of every page to receive all of the content for that instrument on this site. The links for each section that will then show up on the left are designed to easily bring you back to sections later. The extra three links on the right are the only exceptions, and not part of the tutorial run through, though they contain great information.

This is a resource to help parents, and in that way help the students, but it does not replace good practice/method books and qualified teachers for your children.
