In the First Note chapter you were given examples of proper sounds on the saxophone. Now we will discuss and be given examples of improper sound with diagnostic comments you can make at home to help your child succeed faster. The beginning time on an instrument is so important in forming good sound and habits as well as providing encouragement. It's not fun to not sound good so the motivation to practice with a bad sound is just not there. It's proven that the quicker a child succeeds in sounding good, the better the chance of success and love of music.
